The short version

Published because a policy nobody reads protects nobody. Only the numbered sections carry legal weight; this is a precis.

  • We collect what an order needs: name, email, delivery address and payment details, plus a mobile number if, and only if, you ask for monograph texts.
  • Personal information is not offered for sale. Not to brokers, not to other houses, at any figure.
  • No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text opt-in data and consent are never sold, rented or shared, and sit outside every other kind of sharing described below.
  • Nothing but marketing goes out by text, and only to those who requested it. Order paperwork arrives by email, never by text.
  • You may withdraw whenever you wish by replying STOP or using the removal form.
  • No purchase requires consent to texts.
  • You may ask what is held on you and have it deleted, at care@lunascentoils.com.
  • We do not knowingly deal with anyone under eighteen.

Personal information given to lunascentoils.com is handled by GAIA HERBS, INC. (EIN 04-3165780), which trades as GAIA HERBS INC. This policy records what is collected, what it is used for, the limited circumstances in which it is disclosed, and how you can see, correct or delete it.

1. The data we hold

We collect only what an order or a request actually requires.

  • Contact and order details: name, email, shipping and billing address, plus a mobile number if, and only if, you opt in to texts.
  • Site usage: IP address, browser type, pages visited and timestamps, via cookies and similar technologies.
  • Device information: device identifiers and mobile network information.

2. How your mobile number is treated

A mobile number reaches us only when you enter it and tick the box, and that is your consent for GAIA HERBS INC to send recurring automated marketing and informational text messages to it. Frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The number and the consent attached to it are not sold, not rented and not shared, and they are carved out of every other sharing arrangement set out below.

3. Purposes

  • To process and deliver what you ordered.
  • To send the transactional email an order generates: confirmation, despatch, tracking.
  • To send marketing, where and only where you have consented.
  • To understand how the site is used and to improve it.
  • To handle support requests, and to satisfy legal and accounting obligations.

4. Cookies

Cookies and comparable technologies are used here to keep the site working and to see, in aggregate, how it is used. Your browser settings control them, and blocking them does not stop you from reading anything or placing an order.

5. Who else sees it

Your personal information is not for sale, at any price, to anybody. It is shared with the service providers who make the transaction work, namely payment, shipping, the SMS platform and analytics; where the law compels disclosure; and on a transfer of the business. SMS opt-in data is excluded from all three, as set out above.

6. Your Rights (CCPA)

California residents may request to know, delete, or opt out of the sale of their personal information (we do not sell personal data), without discrimination. To exercise these rights, contact care@lunascentoils.com.

7. Security

Industry-standard safeguards protect the information held here, and access to it is restricted to staff whose work requires it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we will not pretend otherwise.

8. Age and this policy

We do not market to, sell to, or knowingly gather personal information from anyone below the age of 18. Should any reach us, it is deleted as soon as we learn of it.

9. Updates

This policy is revised as practices change. Whatever is published on this page, under the date at the top, is the version in force.

No form and no statute needs citing. Telephone +1 (312) 680-2003 during Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm Eastern, write to care@lunascentoils.com, or send it by post to GAIA HERBS, INC., 101 Gaia Herbs Drive, Brevard, NC 28712, US. State whether you want access, correction or erasure. We acknowledge within two business days and complete within 30, confirming back in writing.

To withdraw from the monograph text list, reply STOP to any message, use the removal form, telephone us, or write and ask. Each takes effect at once. The Terms cover the remainder, including the 75-day return window.
